Santa Fe Bound
We are proud to announce that Tintsaba has been selected as one of around 180 international producers to be showcased at the International Folk Art Alliance 2017. Held annually in Santa Fe, New Mexico USA, one of our Master Weavers will be going to represent Tintsaba and the Kingdom of Swaziland. The show will be held on the 14, 15 and 16 July 2017. Each year we select the best of the best baskets from our Master Weavers (view 2016 Master Weaver Winners here) baskets to showcased at the festival. Each basket is designed and produced by a Master Weaver, and each design is a one of a kind product. The weave is technically perfect with no flaws. To produce a basket of this quality and refinery, our weavers spends around 50 hours to produce one 31cm basket. The Master Weaver baskets also come with certification of authenticity and an explanation of the design inspiration. The festival is widely known and recognised as the ‘Best Art Festival’ by USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards. If you would like more information about the festival please visit here.
